I was a bit disappointed this time around, have been a few times, but the last one made me not want to go back again. Quite pricey and small portions, had a sharer hanging kebab and they provided 3 small pieces of halloumi between 2 people on one of the skewers, very disappointing. Also the famous cookie dough is more like an actual cookie, not what I'd expect dough to be. Plus the back doors were open and people were smoking and you could smell the smoke inside, and it was quite cold, kept my jacket on the whole meal. I wouldn't rush back.

Really nice place. Traditional skewered Kebabs and Koftas were delicious. Fish and Chips were great, as was the Steak, Stout And Stilton Pie. Curry looked really appetising. Deserts delicious. Look out for the botanist theme throughout...your desert may even be served in a garden trowel 😁

I had a lovely afternoon at 'The Botanist Bar' My friend and I chose a table at the front of the bar with open windows, giving it an indoor outdoor feel, perfect for people watching and vintage car spotting if that's your thing. Really nice chilled atmosphere for a sunny afternoon. The bar man recommended a classic margarita (perfectly made), We snacked on spicy fries and calamari.
