AVOID. They are handling a stolen dog and refuse to cooperate. Given the other negative reviews regarding this place, I dread to thinks what is happening behind those gates on this dodgy operation.

First-class rescue centre in Binfield. Judicious proprietress with impeccable standards who exercises a peerless and untiring devotion to the abandoned collies in her care; spares no expense in bringing them back to good health; and has the requisite knowledge, intelligence and insight to place the dogs entrusted to her in the most appropriate homes.

Disgusting place in Binfield reported to the RSPCA and to Trading Standards. This place is unregistered that transfers to sell on unwell and neglected Border Collies within a week of receiving them to anyone that wants a Border Collie for more than what the RSPCA and actual proper rescues charge for rehoming dogs. That's not in any Border Collies best interests at all. Review updated: A responsible Border Collie breeder or rescue will be registered this place has been confirmed by the RSPCA as unregistered as a rescue and unregistered as a charity. Only would a irresponsible rescue put young untrained Border Collies with elderly where the chances are that of the dog will out live them and also not be given proper excerise and mental stimulation that all Border Collies require. That is half the problem why dogs suffer.

Fantastic place. Best rehoming centre for Border Collies in country. My lovely Billy I got from Spot. Love the work they do. Do not take any notice of adverse comment by one person. I would make a guess he is a dog dealer with his connections to the midlands!! I understand he has never visited the Spot so his comments have no substance!

The owner of this Border Collie Rescue Centre is a lady of the highest integrity and does an amazing job of rescuing Collies from a variety of sources, unwanted or mal-treated farm dogs, breaking -up families, etc . She takes the dogs in and restores them to good mental and physical health. She then re-homes them under a strict and thorough vetting process as to the compatibility of the dog and the prospective owner. She works almost 24/7 and its a 365 day a year dedication. A most wonderful lady who has a few dedicated helpers . I was very fortunate in getting my present Border Collie from her when he was a 3 year old dog. He has been all I could ever want and I will be eternally grateful to Gill for helping me find another wonderful furry pal to share my life with. Adam Mackowski must be somewhat deranged if he cannot see what a wonderful and selfless organisation the Border Collie Spot is.

Adam Mackowski, this is Pure Sour Grapes, because you were not considered for this Dog, and it was subsequently homed to someone else. You have never met Gill, you have never been to The Border Collie Spot, and the only connection you have had with this Rescue is via its Public Facebook Page, which you are not a member of, and only a visiting member of the public. Gill is very meticulous in her homing procedures, and her adoption fees are a lot less than other Rescues. So everything you have written is absolute garbage, and on that basis we will be contacting Google Reviews to get your review removed forthwith. UPDATE Adam regarding your update, you are slightly misinformed yet again, for one Rescues do not have to be a Registered Charity with the Charities Commission, its a matter of choice for each individual rescue,. secondly Gill is not a Breeder, so has no need to hold a Breeders Licence. But she is a Registered Rescue, so perhaps a bit more homework is needed on your part, before you throw out your acqusations. Gill i strongly advise you to contact the Barrister, and get her to contact Adam Mackowski officially.
