Concerned - West Norwood Vote LAbour
Visited earlier this year and a few times subsequently. Unfortunately, I will not be returning. The selection of records are good, yet curiously expensive. There is no way to listen to records that catch one's eye and the older gentlemen that guddle by the counter are standoffish and quite rude! They simply do not acknowledge their customers when one has a question and I was not greeted upon arrival. This is the sort of service one might expect from an 'upmarket' shop in 'Soho', but not in one's 'local'. This particular establishment feeds into the sterotype of having a cold atmosphere. There is an inexplicably powerful aroma of coffee. For all of the above reasons, I will not be returning and would encourage others to avoid like the PLAGUE.
