Definitely recommend these guys, from the initial quote right through to the install, the team were professional and approachable. I recently got a new Glow-worm combi boiler installed, including the removal of old boiler and tank and replacement of three radiators and a towel rail. I can't fault them at any stage. Any questions I had were answered and my new heating system and it's smart thermostat was explained to me aswell. will definitely use them again for my boiler servicing. Really impressed with the boiler man and the service they provide. I was able to book at appointment within a few days of calling up for a non-urgent job. One of their engineers popped out to service my boiler and was very friendly and professional throughout, and also offered to bleed my radiators while he was re-pressurising the boiler. After he had finished the job, he came back to my flat to let me know that he had spotted some corrosion on my external flu on his way to his van. He then investigated this further to confirm it wasn’t a cause for concern before heading to his next job. Very good service for a very reasonable price, would highly recommend. 1st hand experience? Right away Andy is very responsive to calls and communicative and instils a sense of confidence that you know for sure he knows his stuff! This guy is totally dedicated to his work and professional beyond any doubt, so please ignore any negative reviews you may read here? ! Andy managed to fit me in same day of emergency call , recognised I cannot have my Father who is a pensioner of 78 years without heating , Andy immediately Identified a very serious fault in the boiler that several "so called" qualified British gas engineers overlooked during routine services and many call outs from that company , costing several £`s ... photos were taken by myself and Andy of the serious boiler issues, Andy professionally recommended in his capacity that I seek legal representation and address these issues with British gas, some photos were sent to a training school for research , others I will use to address my issues with British gas and their engineers . Andy Mac Queen and his partner Ryan both very friendly guys , camaraderie between them is sublime and somewhat dry composure but humorous, while naturally remaining totally professional, Installed my Dad a new "Upgraded" new boiler with minimal fuss, mess or inconvenience. I never rate any tradesman at all usually , since always leave me with further problems , but there's "commercially acceptable" and "perfection" ! these guys fall onto that category of seeking perfection. I therefore have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Andy & Ryan " The Boiler Repair Man" Cannot rate these guys highly enough A++++

This company is not interested in maintenance. Their main interest is to see if you are a customer for a new system installation. Two weeks after annual maintenance; our boiler stopped working from what turned out to be a faulty fan. Despite the coming cold week ahead they would not even come to look at what was wrong with the old unit unless we promised to have them install a new boiler (insisted nothing can be done). We had a technician fix the fan that night and we replaced the boiler within a few days (by another company). (Added following owner's response: The Boiler repairman did not identify fan as a fault; this was another technician; he only identified heat exchanger. The fan was in urgent need of replacement and we lost two weeks which created this scheduling problem with the roofer) Service: Heating system maintenance
