There was initially talk of having to alter a dress far too big and long for me, it was going to be a huge job, Helen was so easy going about it and put my mind at rest that she would be able to achieve it! Fortunately, I was able to get the dress in my actual size and less alterations were required on the dress, but we still went back and forth aiming for perfection! I am so glad I chose The Bobbin for my wedding dress tailoring needs! I'm so grateful for Helen and her mum in making my wedding dress fit like a glove. Everything was explained and I had a couple of fittings to get it exactly right. Their attention to detail is unlike anything I have seen before. Helen even agreed to help one of my bridesmaids, who's dress didn't fit properly and we were in a bit of rut in not able to order other options, and she gladly sorted it all for her! She even recommended buying a tool for hooking/unhooking the buttons on the back of my dress which proved the best advice as this took the stress out of dressing/undressing on the day! Thank you so much for all of your work, I'm still in love with my dress and how confident it made me feel.

RIGHT where do I actually begin. Helen tailored and reshaped my dress for my wedding in July and I couldn't have been happier. I bought my dress as a designer sample several sizes too big with a totally different neckline and sleeves to what I wanted. Helen absolutely brought my vision to life - making it fit like a glove, bringing down the neckline, painstakingly reattaching pearls and even nail filing down where they'd been wrongly glued on and most impressively made those incredible capped sleeves, perfectly replicating the applique flowers on the dress. Not to mention reattaching the waist band, changing the length, adding a wrist loop and adding cups. It was a mammoth job, made harder by me living in London so struggling to make regular appointments, but she was so calming and can-do through the whole process, I knew she'd get it to the dream dress and felt so trusting it didn't even stress me out we only finished it the day before I left for the wedding! I have attached before and after shots, as well as progress through fitting, because the difference has to be seen to be believed! I have also tried to find ones which show off those capped sleeves of hers because they really were incredible. So thank you so so much Helen!! And if you're a bride reading this, wondering whether to take your dress here, you will 10000% be in safe hands and get your dream wedding dress out the other side.

From start to finish she was very easy to communicate with, listened to what I wanted, gave me advice and most importantly made my dress fit like a dream!
