Our experience at the Boathouse was incredible from first to last. The accommodation is beautiful with lots of amenities and nice touches (a bottle of Prosecco waiting for me and my now wife to welcome us prior to our wedding). The event space was amazing for our post wedding lunch. The staff were so helpful and accommodating in the lead up to our special day. Special mention has to go to Louise, who was our Event coordinator. Louise took away all the stress we had before and made the Boathouse look stunning whilst we went and got married at the local town hall. The service from Louise and all her staff was wonderful, they were all so professional and friendly. It was truly service with a smile. Probably what makes The Boathouse such a gem Is that they don’t realise quite how good they are. I would happily book again for another event and would recommend them to absolutely anyone. We had a fantastic Hen Do event at the Boathouse. The staff were incredible. Louise was super communicative during the planning stages and then the staff on the day were great. We went for the BYOB option paying for corkage and also brought our own food, this worked great and kept costs down. Would highly recommend the boat for events.

Amazing event space and incredible team! We hired the Boathouse for our wedding lunch, along with one of their recommended caterers, The Tubby Chef. The communication from Louise and her team from our initial enquiry all the way through to post wedding was impeccable. They were really accommodating and allowed us to set up a day early and helped us with decorating the Boathouse exactly how we wanted it. On the day it could not have gone more smoothly, and they kept all of our guests drinks perfectly topped up so they all had a great time but not too much that they got too drunk too quickly! We would absolutely recommend The Boathouse for any 30 person party you are planning.
