It was very ridiculous. My friend had failed with them four times and told me not to go with them. I laughed and said that company is not important, but it was. The examiner didn't even get in my car, he said one of your tires was bad and it was impossible to drive this car, which I believe he was right and he failed me without test !!!Also he told me you can't get refund.I booked my test with the Green Penny company and I passed . Good luck all.

For Taxi testing I would look elsewhere, the test is formatted just as a driving test is formatted, and you are treated as if you are taking your first driving test to gain your drivers license, with just a special "taxi turn" implemented. If you are lucky enough to be located in an area with other testing options (Such as I was in Bristol with Green Penny) I would highly recommend using their service, as it is adapted to respect the fact you already hold a driving license, other testing services should also see you answer 'cabology' questions rather than BLT's alternative show/tell questions (again, something you have previously done correctly in your standard driving test), providing far more relevance to the taxi test and allowing you to use previous research from taxi courses attended. Furthermore, this seems to be the strictest company in terms of cancellations/re-scheduling of appointments. Therefore if you have anything less than 100% certainty in your attendance, definitely do not use BLT. However, if the only element of the test you are nervous/unsure about is the examiner, then BLT seem to have a great, friendly examining team, that should pose no intimidation or add any fear/anxiousness into your test. Michael was brilliant (Bristol).

Examiner Tim has failed me deliberately. Don't ever use them. He claimed that I exceed the speed limits, which I swear to God that I adhered to all speed limits. When we arrived he starts to make up the failing point to reach 10 points and he wanted me to have an extra lessons with him. I've send Blue Lamp Trust a complaint demanding an independent examiner and they never got back to. DON'T ever use this company
