What a night! Brilliant. Now truth be told, I am not good at improvisation, even though I spent a year studying at Second City, in Chicago, the originating of modern-day improv back in 1955. I was also coached by the Director Training at Comedy Sportz in Chicago, I watched long form at Improv Olympic, and I even spent a painful weekend being coached by Paul Sills, the son of Viola Spolin who wrote the book on improvisation. All of which to say, I have experienced a little improvisation from both side of the footlights. And tonight...was surely the most fun I have ever had at an improv show. John, Mark, Michelle and Neal were awesome. A quirky mix of characters that worked so well together. Helped by the fact that Michelle has a phenomenal voice and impressive character range. Topped off by Doug on the piano - another brilliant character and improviser in himself. And what made it so special, was their masterful engagement with the audience (even the 9-year old!), improvising joyously with their prompts, both requested and those that were not. Thank you! You were so inspiring!

Fantastic First night with pizza. On Saturday 8th April I was privileged to watch a highly talented premier performance of "Are you Worthy". This sold out performance had a handful of tickets with a pizza for £20.50 available. As the performance was sold out they will have a second performance on Sunday 9th April. Try to get the £10 ticket by booking early.

Nice little cafe, watched 'What the Veck' which was hilarious. Only reason 4 stars is the bar service was quite slow and they didn't really seem to be bothered that everyone had been waiting ages to be served
