The Lunar Society artefacts viewing at the Library of Birmingham was fantastic to be able to see original letters from Matthew Boulton and James Watt to one another and Dr William Withering's of Edgbaston Hall's drawings of foxgloves whose healing properties for oedema he discovered. We also saw evidence of the Lunar Society links to revolutionary America and several of the founding fathers including Benjamin Franklin who experimented on electricity in lightning bolts and the third President of the USA Thomas Jefferson All in all a great visit to Archives and History the Wolfson Room on the 4th floor of The Library of Birmingham which is where local history and maps can be found
