The Bingley Arms is recognised as being the oldest pub, not just in Yorkshire, or England, but the entire UK - and possibly the universe! Steeped in character and history with lots of exciting and interesting things to see throughout the pub. From the massive old beams to the priest bolt holes in the chimney, the pub is an archive of fascinating facts. The walls display old maps, declarations and records, some dating back to before the dinosaurs!!! A fantastic find and well worth a visit. There's a tiered garden out the back with plenty of seating and space. I expect the car park gets quite full on a busy, sunny day as it's only quite small. A good selection of beers and food is on offer and the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, helping us to see the hidden holes up the chimney, in which the priests escaped persecution. Not an easy task if the fire was lit, I presume! Well worth a visit.

A full family outing last Sunday for lunch at the Bingley Arms. We had little ones and babies and were given our own room upstairs. The food and service were second to none as usual and the kids could play without upsetting other diners. A super service by a super team. Highly recommended. Thanks Kay and everyone. See you again soon
