Mel and Kim have walked our two Bedlinhton Terriers, Milo and Arlo, for a number of years as well as boarding at their house and regularly grooming them. They are extremely caring and professional, and nothing is too much trouble. I would recommend them to anybody with a dog, who they’re looking to have walked, boarded or groomed. It is clear they are extremely passionate, and look after your pet as if they were their own.

For the last 3 years Mel and The Big Blue Dog team have been taking Jet for day care, pack walks, grooming and teeth cleaning and I can’t recommend them highly enough, Jet loves his days with the pack and always comes back clean and happy, even after the wettest and muddiest of walks! Working in the emergency services means things can, and often do, change at very short notice and Mel and Kim are so understanding and accommodating when this happens. A very professional and friendly team who put the welfare of the dogs in their charge first and foremost.

Mel and Kim are lovely and kind and my dog Tinks absolutely loves being with them. I’ve been using their service for over 3 years now for walking 5 days a week, overnight stays, nail cutting and teeth cleaning. But Back in July we decided to moved to Chelmsford and I didn’t want to take my dog away from the amazing service they provide. They love and care for Tinks like she’s their own dog and I knew my dog would miss them to much to take her away from them. So now we take her before work and pick her up after work. She loves day care and gets so excited when she’s in the car on the way. We run our own business and sometimes things happen and they are so accommodating when things have changed last minute. They never complain and also go above and beyond to help. They offer a 5* service
