Called in here to see an artistic exhibition portraying the Stations of the Cross. I found it thought-provoking although slightly fanciful. There were few people around, but staff were welcoming and it was very peaceful. The grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed a short walk through them. There was plenty of free parking and no charge for the exhibition itself. It's an ideal place for reflection and solitude.

What a beautiful haven of rest and recuperation hidden amongst the gorgeous scenes of Scotland. The owners were friendly, accommodating and passionate about what they do, and it provided us with a space to do as we pleased - there was no pressure to join in with services or devotions but the freedom to take in what we felt. The gardens and grounds are beautiful, with mazes to navigate whilst praying, animals to go and visit, and even a swimming pool to relax in! The food was delicious and plentiful, and the rooms were clean and spacious. Log fires and many rooms for either solitude or gathering made this a wonderful break from the difficulties of life and a chance to reconnect.
