Visited the Belly Bar yesterday (20/05/2023) for a drop in septum and nostril piercing. The two people that greeted us were absolutely great and explained everything to us, and let us know that as always, piercings are anatomy-dependent but if the piercer was unable to do what we wanted we could get a full refund. There was about a 20 minute wait for the piercings due to others having booked appointments but they let us know as soon as we had filled out all the forms and we popped and got a coffee before returning. We both got pierced by Ryan and they were great, showed us sealed and sterile single-use equipment before talking through every step of the way and making sure we were comfortable with everything they were doing. They also did a quick anatomy check for me on my ear and advised if I would be able to get a piercing where I wanted. They seemed very knowledgeable and was not afraid to tell me that my anatomy probably wouldn’t fit the piercing. The shop also has a wide selection of different types of earrings available to buy for healed piercings of all types. Just a quick note; the front of the shop is very small and got crowded quite quickly which could be an issue if you struggle with crowded places but we just waited outside whilst waiting, and they let us know when it was our turn. They also only let one of us into the piercing room at any one time so just keep this in mind. 10/10 recommend this place for any of your piercing needs. Everyone was very knowledgeable about everything piercing related and both the front room and piercing rooms were very clean, well kept and well-lit.
