Couldn’t park my motorcycle near entrance so I can have a clear view of it, not blocking access inside at all, random guy telling my that i’m damaging his pavement and I should park in parking bays like any other vehicle, clearly trying to feed his ego by having an attitude. My every visit was ending with a £60-80 bill which i was happily paying cause I like the place, I guess he skipped customer service course

I started visited the pub two and a half years ago. After couple of visits stopped. The reason was I was not happy at all. 7 months ago I gave it a try again. Since that I realise all the changes from new managment I became a regular guest not a customer. That is the feeling that these people giving you. Better service, better food, better quality in everything. Thank you Paul and Josie for making me and my husband feel always welcomed, always exceed our expectations . Special thanks to Adam for all the amazing, superb cocktails. David thank you for your amazing service. Recipe of success is people that care and here already happening. You Aced it Guys. Recently visited on two occasions and we were not disappointed with the service we received . Sharing platter and Sunday lunch were delicious and plentiful. Lovely atmosphere and staff were friendly and attentive. Spotlessly clean too. Would recommend. Thank you

We dinned there twice over the weekend and was not disappointed , we had the meat sharing platter on the Saturday and there was plenty for the two of us and all of it was very tasty and cooked to perfection. We then chose to go back on Sunday for the Sunday roast and wow this was out of this world and highly recommended . The service was great, both Paul the General Manager and Adam one of the other Managers were very attentive and along with the other staff who were also very friendly made for a very relaxed experience. So if you are looking for great food along with good service and a relaxed atmosphere this is the pub for you. It will not disappoint we will be back.

I've been coming for years - the ambiance and customer service is always really great. The perfect amount of care and leaving you to enjoy your time without bothering you. However, my favourite meal; fish and chips, always has bones in the fish now. Previously I didn't have to worry about finding bones but every time I eat this meal now I find around 15 - 30 bones and it's just not enjoyable anymore. I am really disappointed. Update: I decided to revisit last night, I called up before hand to ask about how the fish is now prepared and if the chef still puts tarter sauce all over the fish to adhere it to the plate when serving (I do not like tarter sauce) and they said no. This sounds like a non issue to many but I'm paying £17.50 in this economy. TO my shock (not really) the fish is prepared exactly as it was before. I wont be back now. I did my own due diligence by calling before hand, I let a member of staff know that I felt misled but I scraped off the sauce, ate my food and promptly left. Unhappy.
