My cousin uses this gp practice, she is diabetic and also have copd. Both have been pretty much ignored for about 6 years by these not good people. Listen up her current sugar level is above 17 she is very worried you don't seem to be helping her at all, she is naturally getting worried as we all know what can happen, the current medication she has is not working.

Just spoken to receptionist in regards to an MRI referral to JPH. She couldn’t of been anymore helpful. A simple mistake made by a GP and apology given and referral sorted all within 3-5 mins. I personally Can’t fault the surgery. A simple apology and a lovely telephone manner goes such a long way.

They don't always look too happy but I can appreciate that they probably deal with a lot of grumpy people throughout the day too. Very clean medical centre but highly unlikely you'll see the same doctor twice.

What a laugh that we’re reviewing a health centre like once upon time folk did with records. So it gets a bad review. What are our options? Travel miles to a 5 star practice? Typical 21st century nonsense! So anyway…I’ve been attending this practice for many years and generally have found the experience as reasonable as one would expect. Staff are usually efficient and professional, knowledgeable and polite. They’re human. No one chooses to work for the NHS for an easy ride nor mega wages. We live in a get-what-you-pay-for society after all. I’d recommend it. It’s alright!

I’ve always found the staff and doctors very helpful and very understanding and with reassurance and respect but now read below please ! Since then, 22/2/23 I’ve asked for an appointment, all they can offer is a telephone appointment a week away and a back dated sick note which my work will not be happy with and I doubt they’d pay me so I’ve no choice apart from go back to work and suffer! Not good!

My elderly Mum needed her ears cleaned out as she wears hearing aids and her hearing was getting worse. My father rang the beaches to arrange this and was told he needed to pay Specsavers to do it as it was no longer covered by NHS. He then paid over £50.00 for this service, which turned out to be false information from the doctors surgery. Shame on you the Beaches, this is bang out of order. I went to see the audiologist at James Paget and was told this was false information and they did not have to pay for that service. Not only that I have heard from other people using your surgery that they were also told the same story. Get your facts right and you are taking money from people who have paid their taxes all their working life and have a right to use the NHS services. Absolutely shameful behaviour!
