Very good place, excellent Sunday lunch and delicious, good sized portions. We met two great friends there, one a vegan the other a vegetarian and the food was well thought out and delicious, we all enjoyed the food. If you get the chance, go there as I recommend. We stayed for a night of camping and a meal with a group of people. Camping facilities were clean and warm. Potential issue where our meal booking for 11 had gone missing but they set up a new table for us. As with all service it's not if things go wrong that disappoint but how these things are resolved and they did their best to resolve the issue. I had the slow cooked pork belly and it was delicious. It's a great location for Fishers Farm and kid and dog friendly but there is a busy road A road that seems to have some big lorries going through occasionally that runs along the back of the camping area but when I was in my van it didn't really bother me but under canvas maybe an issue.

So disappointed with what will be our final visit here. We have been coming here for years and have always found the pub to be very friendly and welcoming, especially to my late Mother who had severe mobility issues. Today my Father and I turned up for a walk in as we occasionally do with no issues; to be told walk ins are no longer accepted. Staff that have always been so friendly to us and we thought we had built up a good rapport with gave no regard to our loyalty over the years and turned us away with no friendliness or the usual smile. I appreciate the rules have changed but we weren't to know and think that there could have been an exception on this occasion given we have been regular loyal customers and travel a fair distance. We shall be taking our custom elsewhere to a pub that appreciates it.
