    We had a most enjoyable month at The Hay Barn whilst our house was being refurbished. It was immaculately presented, very comfortable, well furnished and equipped and with all mod cons for home-to-home living. Piers, the charming, personable owner, showed that nothing was too much trouble to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The Hay Barn is set in really lovely surroundings, close to open fields and views, and with woods and ponds. Its position makes it ideal for plenty of country walks and sightseeing in this splendid part of Kent. There is a delightful (circa) 500 year old pub, 'The Rock ,' just a little way away and Chiddingstone Village, with its castle and lovely old pub within a modest walk.There are many National Trust properties to visit, gardens and other place of interest as well as Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge, Edenbridge etc all within easy travelling. We have no hesitation in giving The Hay Barn our highest recommendation. David and Chris Hutchins March 2018
