Been their customer for few years I must admit that 1st year was great lovely people and care after something has changed and you can feel sometimes when having conversations its like "ok you now taking time, can you leave" it wasn't welcoming anymore more about money and business, especially when taking payments they always forse you to pay card - I mean you should be prepared to take all payment methods rater then saying " can you come with your card" - really? Now just few days ago they informed about closing temporary on Friday before Bank holiday without any notice to their customers. So unprofessional because I cant call them, no responses to email. No one can advise me on taking my pets documentation from them to transfer them elsewhere.

Putting aside the fact that a trip to the vets is expensive I found the Ave vet a breath of fresh air. Didn't have to wait long for appt which was a change. Vet was knowledgeable and it was possible to jave a real conversation rather than just be told 'do this'

I’ve decided to write a comment as the below reply from the practice is not true, I am and have been a client of this practice for over 5 years. In my opinion, the dynamic of the practice has changed which has influenced this poor review. The clinical aspect of the service is ran by locum vets, rather than a permanent vet. My dog is my absolute world and it’s important to me that I am able to build a trust and rapport with whoever is seeing them. Consistency is a key factor in this. I also noted difficulties in getting appointments sometimes. Due to this, I’ve gradually transferred my dogs care elsewhere.

Under new ownership, and the popular vet Roland is longer seeing patients. A disappointment for those of us who prefer an experienced, sympathetic vet we've met before to the pot luck of locums. Recently I wanted my dog checked for a possible eye infection, and the first appointment they could offer was a week away. Today I needed an emergency consult and they had no vet on duty at all. Frankly poor. Good range of petfood however, including raw diets, plus quality harnesses and leads etc.

have been taking my cats here from the beginning. the treatment and care has always been incredible even throughout the pandemic and now with vet staff problems nationally. all of their staff including the nurses and receptionists are so helpful. they do their best to get you an answer or solve your query as quickly as possible. they are not the cheapest but paying for the top service they offer is no problem!!!

It's very disappointing to find out that Dr Roland Sabin is not the vet anymore but a pot luck of different vets. Took our cat for dental cleaning & since then he's having difficulty eating. What a shame! Dr Roland was an excellent vet and we recommended several friends too. Repeatedly asked why Dr Roland wasn't available & the clinic was vague with their answers. We now realise why! We trusted this vet with our precious animals & feel very let down.
