Straight down the middle when you take into account the whole experience. We booked a table and they had over booked so we had to wait 30 mins. The steak was high quality and cooked nicely, ribeye medium. The bar staff and wait staff were great too. They charge for chips and sauce separately which also taints a restaurant experience.

Booked a table for 6 for a birthday celebration. First time visiting the restaurant after a number of reccomendation. Absolutely superb evening. All the food was very good with generous portions. Highly recommend the chips with truffle oil. Will be going back to try the Sunday lunch.

I would highly recommend The Ashville Steak house at Leigh Street as a great bed & breakfast having recently booked to stay in Bristol for my birthday .The accommodation was ideal with the access to the city centre in walking distance.The breakfast provided was ‘spot on’ with a variety of options.The restaurant itself was just right to come back too in the evening where the food was absolutely delicious yet again with a variety of steak dishes and other choices.What was noted was the quality of the food which was freshly cooked and to a very high standard…..the owner and staff were very friendly ……well worth a try👍
