BUYER BEWARE! I would NOT recommend this company. I was notified there was a problem fulfilling my order and since then, I’ve had my emails ignored and telephone calls screened and ignored. I called dozens of times but the phone was never answered, not once. When I finally did receive an email, I was asked to pay an extra £10 for a different set, which I now suspect are second hand judging by the way items were carelessly packaged together in one box. Other items delivered were not what I ordered. I ordered Kinetic dyneema D97 bowstrings but was delivered Flex Pro FF HMPE, which costs less and is less durable. At no time was i informed the bowstrings would be different. The delivery time was nearly 30 days. Do yourself a favour and shop somewhere else. I feel like I've been scammed. I am not attempting to return the items as they seem serviceable and my nephew and I just want to get shooting again but moreover, I want nothing more to do with Ryan Jeavons and his company. i don't expect much assistance anyway. I have noticed other very dissatisfied reviews recently, so this is not an isolated incident.

Despicable treatment from this company, I placed an order for bow limbs and a new string, the wrong limbs were delivered and I contacted by email to rectify this and was told nearly 2 weeks ago that the correct ones had been ordered and would be dispatched when they arrived. I also requested a returns label for the incorrect limbs to return them. Despite multiple emails none of which have been answered and calls going unanswered I would not recommend this company to anyone who wants good service. Absolutely disgusting customer service.

I was made aware of the Archers nest by a few people in my Archery Club. Contacted and set up a time to pop in and set not only myself but in the end 3 other people with our first kits. Rocked up early afternoon and I think stayed way passed the closing time of the shop. Everything measured, explained and ordered if not in stock with a delivery of the same week. This includes the custom made arrows. Very, very impressed by the overall service provided to us all. Went above and beyond to fit us all in. I'll definitely be back soon. There's a few compounds i fancy and i might get tempted by the dark side one of these days!

Archery shops are few and far between so I'm fortunate that my local one (25 miles) happens to be brilliant. I had one or two issues with my kit and being a bit of a beginner, I was getting tied in knots trying to sort it out. My club recommended I visit Ryan at the Archers Nest so off I went with my bank card ready for a hammering. He was excellent, solving my problems without undue expense and dispensing plenty of solid advice. Only in conversation did it emerge that Ryan's daughter, Penny Healey, is a world class archer in her own right, winning medals for GB. Highly recommended
