Visited on a Sunday for a well reviewed Roast dinner and was a total let down! Service was poor, food on plates was not complete as stated on the menu and some undercooked, my partners roast was not hot so asked it to be heated up and it came back without the Yorkshire pudding, the kids areas are a good addition but outside part is dirty and fagbutts all on the floor. Desserts are average at best and was told when bought a small pot of custard that the chef thinks that will be enough for you guys!! The kids meals come with a drink which was not offered at all to us. Will not be visiting here again but suggested improvements would be better service, better quality and cooked foods on plates, cleaner environment for kids areas. And cleaner toilets for customers. A waste of £120 spent for us!

Nice pub restaurant, which now has Aspall cider. Visited again with family for grandchild birthday on Friday 26th May, 2023. Really fantastic service from our waitress, she was very efficient and friendly. Thank you very much👍

Update 2022. Staff are great and make this place. Facility is good, food is good and beer is good (IPA favorite) ... but staff are just right. Chatty but not over so. Friendly and familiar. And reasonably attentive in a pub that provides for children and a childrens play area. Fairly normal pub format but definitely a good bet.
