If all you want it a diagnosis and meds, can afford it (also cheaper than some others), and want to bypass NHS waiting lists, then it does what it says on the tin, and my experiences with admin have been more or less ok. But if you want any kind of empathy, actual advice or information, or to be treated with much respect or humanity for your money - then maybe look elsewhere... The assessment was only 40minutes, and every follow-up has been 5-10minutes tops (and that's with me attempting to actually speak). If I try and answer the same set questions asked every time with anything other than "yes/no" the psychiatrist just cuts across me with the next question, regardless of my answer. I'm only a nursing student and could've written a more comprehensive assessment report myself. I have a childhood diagnosis and just wanted to go back on meds due to struggling in adulthood, but if I was unsure about whether or not I did have ADHD or was receiving the diagnosis for the first time then this would've been little help, and I could see how people could potentially be misdiagnosed through this process. My experience has felt very impersonal and my psychiatrist can give the impression I'm an inconvenience to him by just rushing me through every contact. He's clearly moonlighting from his regular job for the money (most appointments early morning or late evening) and doesn't seem to have any interest in what I have to say. He probably sees quite a few people, but every time it seems like he's just picked up a list of basic info about me and it might as well be the first time we've ever spoken. I haven't ever really felt listened to, I'm just glad I'm on a shared care agreement so I now only have to pay £215 every 6 months for that 5min tick box exercise (that could just as easily be done by anyone with no medical training at all). It did cost me quite a bit to get to that point, but I suppose I'm now 3yrs 4 months into an NHS waiting list so I didn't really have any other option...

I cannot express enough how amazing and caring the ADHD centre have been with me. I have been under their treatment and supervision for 1 year+ ever since I have gotten my diagnosis with them. I have only had appointments with Dr Kripalani which is why I can only reflect on his care. Dr Kripalani is amazingly attentive, thorough and considers any issue I bring from all angles - holistically, pharmacologically and evidence based. He will take the time to understand as well as explain until he makes sures that I also understand. He is always guided by me and the doctor-patient relationship feels very much like a productive working relationship. Dr Kripalani is worth every penny! Nothing has been too much for the ADHD Centre - they have helped me and have gone above and beyond for me numerous times. My quality of life has drastically improved. Choosing the ADHD Centre has been one of the best impulsive ADHD decisions I have ever made and I will forever be grateful to them. After having numerous traumatising experiences within the NHS and separately, I have finally managed to find the team of professionals who have listened to me, accepted me and genuinely made me feel like they care for me and they want to see me get better and lead a better life.

The level of professionalism, care and attention to detail given by all at the ADHD centre has been superb. During a difficult time supporting our daughter, Dr Shaker and his team showed great empathy and support, I can't thank them enough and would reccomend them to anyone needing diagnosis and support for themselves or a family member.

My experience of the ADHD centre was very positive. It was easy to book an initial consultation and begin the assessment process. After receiving a diagnosis of I/ADHD it took some time to find a medication and dosage that worked for me, but with Dr Tari's support I'm now settled on a medication that has improved my quality of life significantly.

Absolutely professional! No corners cut. Truly a life changing discovery about myself and anyone who has a similar experience MUST look into it further. It’s a huge step to take and I’d recommend taking it with a group of professionals that care! Dr. Chowdhury and her Assistant Elizabeth are truly exemplary and I have no doubts that all the staff are just as amazing!

My consultant Dr Uphadya has been very supportive but unfortunately that's all the positive things I can say for this company. Very quick to take your money for an assessment but as soon as you have your diagnosis the attention you receive significantly declines. Urgent queries relating to severe medication side effects take days and several follow ups to get any type of response. I will be looking to transfer to another private clinic ASAP as I do not feel that this service is worth the incredibly high costs. £225 for a one hour meeting that lasts 30 minutes max is ridiculous!

The diagnosis went really well but it's very hard to get on medication, I was diagnosed over half a year ago yet still waiting for medication, not good considering I paid a lot for a diagnosis to then be left struggling and waiting for a reply.

I fully recommend the ADHD centre. I am specifically very grateful to Dr Chowdhury for her assessment and explaining everything thoroughly with kindness during the diagnosis and treatment. All correspondence and emails were answered promptly by Elizabeth Joannides, thank you very much. Communication has been very efficient between myself the ADHD centre and my GP Surgery. The medication is already making a huge change in my life. Thank you! Aamer
