What a lovely pub We all loved our starters and mains. Couldn't manage a pudding. Service great. All very friendly. Playground across the road to keep the kids entertained. No faults at all. Will definitely be back

Amazing old boozer. Great setting. Food is good. Service is hit or miss. If they put you in the teepee in the garden it's certainly an inferior experience to being inside. We visited on bank holiday Monday for lunch and the staff clearly didn't want to be there. We had a few off-colour comments and some of the way they handled young children wasn't great. That said, we've been many times before and we've had a good experience. I think we caught a group of staff on a bad day.
