I was recommended THDG by a colleague at work after 3 of the London based firms who quoted for my house renovation were excessively expensive and quoting for unnecessary structural work (one of the engineers even arrived in a Masserati which set the tone for his eye watering quote when it arrived !). I dealt with Simon Read who has been absolutely brilliant from start to finish. I immediately felt in safe, experienced hands - he was friendly, knowledgable, extremely thorough, flexible and helpful. He was very patient with my total lack of building experience (never mansplained anything) and always tried to find the most cost effective option for me without ever compromising on safety. He was always responsive when i had questions throughout the build, and provided great 'after sales' service. I cannot recommend Simon and the team at THDG enough for high quality service at good, honest prices.

I am a chartered architect and chartered surveyor. I have worked with THDG on many projects over the years and have always found their service to be fast, efficient, friendly and very reliable. They have worked with me on numerous domestic and commercial projects ranging from small extensions up to £3 million houses. Their designs are practical and technically sound and they always give a prompt turn-around when tight deadlines have to be met. Whenever I get a new project I immediately call THDG as they are one of the best engineering firms around and I know I can rely on their technical knowledge, friendly advice, and prompt service. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

The slowest service you will ever get - after giving them the job they took 3 months to come back to be - they then needed to requote - after 7 more weeks of waiting a gave up and went elsewhere...... This company is in the stoneage and has no customer service.
