    My partner booked an appointment for today at 9am. No one showed up so he sent them a message and was told no one was coming due to a member of staff not coming into work. I understand these things happen however no contact was made to let him know and he had taken the morning off of work. He was told they could attend this afternoon or rearrange. However after replying letting them know he had taken the morning off of work no one responded. This has set a bad tone (red flags) safe to say we will not be using this company, as they are unprofessional and do not valuable peoples time.

    I challenged myself and the Thatcher team to maximise the small space available to replace a very old and sad kitchen in an Edwardian conversion. Not touched since late 70s. I was anxious to see the new kitchen emerge with all the facilities and fancy touches. ASAP. Ray and team patiently and professionally took the whole room back to basics providing a full rebuild including stripping out, plumbing, rewiring, plastering floor to ceiling, new flooring, cabinetry, new appliances and ultimately delivered what I wanted.     Ray and his team did an amazing job, not only was their work second to none, but they helped us out of a very tight spot when a previous builder had left us with substandard work while we were expecting a new child. Ray’s team fixed all the issues, managed the process passing building control and went above and beyond in the quality of their work. The professionalism of the team was very high, with Ray managing and communicating with us on a daily basis so we could review progress and provide feedback as we went along. As well as completing all the structural items, the attention to detail on the plastering, flooring, tiling, fixtures, and painting was superb. As tight as the timing was, Ray and the team ensured we had somewhere to celebrate Christmas with the new addition to the family, which meant the world to us after journey we’ve had.     I contacted Ray Thatcher who came out to my property to discuss my rear kitchen extension project in Bromley. From the beginning he was helpful, informative and very patient. The project started and from the beginning to the end (September 2022) I was given daily updates and the team arrived promptly every day. I had some issues with the water pipes in the garden, but Ray gave expert advice and helped resolve the problem. Ray is reliable, friendly and extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of the building trade, at times it was challenging but Ray helped smooth out the whole process. He has the forward vision, based on years of experience to know how the project will develop and turn out. In addition Ray has a great team who work alongside him. Jamie is great at laying floor tiles, he also build a larder for me in my kitchen and fitted the kitchen cabinets, Billie painted the kitchen throughout, very tidy and precise, he also tiled my toilet under the stairs and helped with the kitchen cabinets. John plastered internally, very tidy and neat work, George the bricklayer finished the outside and also laid the patio outside and made it look better than before. Darren and Scott were here throughout the project and helped finish off at the end. They all played their part in completing my extension, which has totally transformed my home. I now have an amazing space which I can totally relax in with friends and family. Ray is a man of his word and throughout my project he kept his promise to deliver a kitchen extension which I would be happy with. The whole team did a fantastic job and I am more than happy with the results, I would totally recommend Ray and his team, they are hardworking, reliable and do a great job from the start to the finish.     I have been thinking about how to write this review without sounding like I’m gushing. I’m not sure I can. Ray and his team did a fantastic job. They knocked through, enlarged and fitted our kitchen, rewired the entire house, converted our garage into an entertainment room, and put on a new flat roof. On top of this, they did all the plastering, painting, plumbing, light fittings, and titling to finish the job. All this while we were in residence. Ray’s entire team was helpful and accommodating. There were parts of the job that were challenging, especially with a family in the house, but Ray’s team remained positive throughout. Nothing was ever a drama. Right from discussing our plans, to providing a quote and the completion of the project. Ray also stuck to our original budget. Any additions were reasonably priced and slotted into the schedule. So, if you are looking for a building company that is trustworthy, hardworking, and talented, I highly recommend Ray and his team. I still love using my new kitchen every day.     Ray did our bathroom, floors and wall painting for the bedroom and reception. Work was great and things were left tidy when finished. Price very reasonable and he also gave useful suggestions on refurb that helped our budget. Good communication throughout, highly recommend!
