Bought Home and Contents Insurance via Thamesbank in Nov 2021. Cover included Home Emergency cover and Key cover. Have just had a home emergency and checked paperwork to find the Home Emergency cover is NOT with the same company that do Home AND Contents cover. Calling the number in the provided Home Emergency cover paperwork takes me somewhere that says they don't deal with me, and I was bounced elsewhere incorrectly for a boiler emergency (which is not my emergency). Got given another number to call to be told (on the next call) that they no longer raise claims since Dec 2021. They checked my details on the system and found a Home Emergency cover policy started AND cancelled only ONE WEEK after I bought policies via Thamesbank (the policy number is identical to what Thamesbank have on their summary screen when I log in). No communication when and why cover was started AND stopped, no explanation of why I haven't got Home Emergency cover despite paying via Thamesbank for it, and of course no easy way to get hold of Thamesbank. DEFINITELY DO NOT TOUCH.

Allowed me to purchase a policy and then was told that I had been quoted the wrong price. Felt like I was being scammed. Was told that a software issue had caused the wrong quote to appear on a comparison site for 30 minutes. Although the same policy was still available hours later for the same price.
