  Thames Valley Pest Control came out to give an assessment of pest control issues in our new home. It's a very old place with lots of potential issues. Steve arrived on time and gave us some thorough analysis of our potential issues and came back a further 2 visits to ensure the steps taken were working. Also offered additional advice for the type of property we have and some useful next steps we can take ourselves. Went above and beyond what I expected.   Highly recommended! I had the rodents issue in my loft for almost 1 and half years (since pandemic started). Initialy I used council's rodent control service. That didn't solve the issue as all the guy did was quick check and put baits in some places rats. The rats activity did seem to be reduced at the time of visit as I think the little creatures spooked and stopped for few weeks then I could hear them back again (making crawling and gnawing sound). So I decided to battle with the rats myself by tried many methods/tools, i.e. bait station, trap, glue board, tracker dust and I even made a roller slide bucket trap myself followed by youtube video. I did captured 4-5 rats from above tools during the year but the battle seems to be endless if you don't know where the leak is or root cause how the rats get in. I could not spot this myself so I started to search around to find rodents specialists and tried to ring several of them. They are expensive and not very responsive, some of them told me would ring me back but they never did (not sure why they are not interested to get more business , this is really beyond me). Eventualy I phoned Thames Valley Pest Control and Steve answered my call and booked me in immediately for the next following day. He was very friendly, polite and knowledgeable on the call. When he physically arrived, his profession , he checked thoroughly in my house (i.e. garage, loft, garden and decking etc), then eventually he thinks my house doesn't seem to have a big issue. Then he suggested to inspect my neighbor's house (the property is a semi-detached house) and luckily enough my neighbor was at home and they also suffered the same issue and willing to let Steve to check their house and get the service as well. After a thorough inspection of my neighbor's house, Steve found the root cause is from their side! Then immediately he provided the suggestion and solution to my neighbor. Finally my nightmare battling with the rats had ended! Steve came back two times after the initial treatment just to be sure the rats issue is no longer in mine and neighbor's property. I deliberately didn't make any reviews just want to give a month/two to make sure the rats are not back again as I had this experience before! But so far so good, I am really happy with the service provided by Steve and has no hesitation to recommend him and his company to anyone who has the same issue! Service: Rodent extermination
