Booked this back last Oct for my daughter hen do this weekend, we have been trying to contact them to talk about dietary requirements and they never pick up or email back. I have done some research and seems to be a theme here, I have found out the boats are up for sale. My daughter is distraught. AVOID AS THEY JUST TAKE YOUR MONEY

I would give them 0 stars if I could. We booked a trip to scatter my mother in-laws ashes 2 months before the even, we even sent an email 2 weeks before the event to confirm everything was still booked and going ahead. On the day of the event, they cancel. We had people from all over the UK attending, taking the day off work. We had no notification of the cancellation and they even tried to blame it on the bad weather. It's not like this weather was a surprise. It's been cold for the last 2 weeks. They don't answer their phone, or respond to emails. Lucky for us, we were in the café at the top of the pier and they had a contact number for the owner. I spoke directly to the owner and they transferred our money back. My advice, stay clear of this company. I would not recommend them at all.

A bridge for a few hundred people while the double was still waiting outside 2. Less than 10 tables and about ten seats... already all occupied when we were among the first to board 3. A "buffet" very far from what had been described on the announcement and what one can expect for a New Year's Eve. 4. No staff to explain the situation. After 10 minutes, the 6 of us were standing between the people queuing at the bar and the other passengers who were waiting in amazement for the situation to improve. There was quite simply deception on the goods. Like other passengers, we left the boat before it left to hope to find a place that lived up to our expectations. We are Belgians and we came to London on purpose for your event and everything was ruined. Emails and calls were obviously sent... but obviously, without answer. A shame... Avoid this company really. Après le tant attendu embarquement, notre surprise a été totale quand nous avons vu l’intérieur du bateau. 1. Un pont pour une petite centaine de personnes alors que le double attendait encore dehors 2. Moins de 10 tables et une dizaine de place assises... déjà toutes occupées alors que nous étions parmi les premiers à avoir embarqué 3. Un « buffet » très très loin de ce qui avait été décrit sur l’annonce et à quoi on peut s’attendre pour une soirée de nouvel an. 4. Aucun membre du personnel pour avoir des explications sur la situation. Après 10 min, nous étions tous les 6 debout entre les gens qui faisaient la file au bar et les autres passagers qui attendaient avec stupéfaction que la situation s’améliore. Il y a tout simplement eu tromperie sur la marchandise. Comme d’autres passagers, nous avons quitté le bateau avant son départ pour espérer trouver un endroit à la hauteur de nos espérances. I thought I would leave a positive counter-review for the New Year's Eve reviews, as although we experienced the unfortunate events of New Year's Eve, Thame's Cruises have since responded with an apology and sound genuinely disheartened at the unfortunate run of events. They have also issued us with a refund, which I think demonstrates that they accept the evening did not run as planned and are not crooks as some have suggested. Despite the bad luck of NYE, we would probably give Thames Cruises a go again as they had a lot of 5* reviews before this one bad evening.
