    Max deserves all the 5-star reviews that he's got; he's a highly professional and affable PT who knows how to equip you to fulfil your fitness goals. The Pilates and yoga classes that are provided by Thame Fitness, at the Studio in Thame, are also of a very high standard. Couldn't recommend him and Thame Fitness more.

    I looked for a personal trainer having suffered an anterior cruciate ligament rupture and subsequent surgery last year. I tried doing my own rehab before contacting Max, based on advice from a physiotherapist, but struggled to pace myself. Max has provided my with expert, personalised, challenging rehab sessions which have rapidly improved my strength but also ended up sorting out other problems eg low back pain which is fantastic. Max makes sessions fun and he's very shrewd at working out how to motivate and challenge you. I work as a GP and am very impressed by Max's knowledge on diet, wellbeing and body mechanics. He brings extensive practical and theory-based knowledge ranging from nutrition and rehabilitation through to bio-mechanics which enables him to design bespoke programs to suit individual physiques and training plans/timelines. Max is clearly passionate about his subject and brings a refreshing energy and enthusiasm to every session which motivates you to work harder. Max has also completed an impressive range of hardcore physical "challenges" from Iron-Man to Ultra-Marathon (+ Solo Parachuting + Tough-Mudder) so he walks the walk AND talks the talk!! - In summary, great bloke, great instructor - keep it up Max!
