    My car was sent to Thame Crash via my insurance, it took them 3 weeks since receiving the car to start any work on it, then when they had my car they broke my car key and this needed replacing. My car was bought back to me in November with the key broken as a replacement had not been made yet, my insurance had said they covered all payments and no invoice or payment was asked off me on return of my car by Peter in November. It then took until January for them to replace my key which they had snapped, so my car had to go back again for this to be programmed, that’s 4 months I had a broken key which did not work properly. After 8 months of having my car fixed I was sent an invoice which has someone else name and address on it with an amount to pay immediately, this in itself is GDPR and a data breach. I contacted the garage and was told I had to pay the amount as it was my excess, when I contacted my insurance they said everything had been settled and I tried to explain this but the woman I spoke to, Jane, was rude each time on the phone and did it let myself or my husband get a word in. She then continued to send 2 more bills, now in my name but dated incorrectly, I received them in June and she dated them November, she continued to say she had been trying to contact me since November which she had not. She then proceeded to phone me constantly even though I told her I couldn’t speak whilst I was working, it was clear harassment when the mistake was her fault for not invoicing at the time off receiving my car back. She demanded the money be paid immediately and if it wasn’t then she would refer it to her legal team, we asked to speak to the legal team and were put through to Paul who is a manager and not a legal team representative, he didn’t really know what to say to us. We still have not spoken to a legal team representative and I am also sure the owner is unaware of what’s happened.
