I just completed the Ayuvedic deep tissue massage course run by Stephen. The outcome of this practical course is that I can now give a full body massage! We spread this 8 day course over as many months, to give us time to practice in between. There were just 2 students on the course, my sister and myself. She intends to practice massage professionally, I wanted to learn a new skill and balance out the time I spend on the computer, as an IT professional. The course structure and Stephen's teaching style suited both our aims. The course was first and foremost fun. Stephen creates a relaxed environment to learn, where mistakes are gently corrected and you're never told off. The morning coffee and lunches at the cafe made me feel like the whole day was a jolly rather than being back at school. Yet, at the same time Stephen employs a wide range of teaching methods that would suit every type of learner. He provides a manual with photos and instructions on every technique. The massage is demonstrated step by step, which he allows you to video, so you have a permanent study aid. As you practice on your massage partner, he patiently corrects mistakes and encourages good practice. You are massaged by Stephen and then your partner, so you get to feel the techniques you're learning. This repetition is vital to remember the wide range of techniques that you are taught. Plus it feels nice :-) I love leaning new skills and doing practical courses. This has to be up there as one of my favourites. It's been a highlight of the past months. I whole heartedly recommend this course. We'll definitely be back for more.

Thai Vedic Massage is without doubt my favourite place for massage. Incredibly knowledgable practitioners, always so welcoming, and such a lovely relaxing atmosphere. Absolutely wonderful aromatherapy massage with Zsu today. Zsu really listens to what you need, adapting focus of treatment where necessary. Cannot recommend enough! Would give ten stars if the review allowed!
