Literally just walked out. We were all geared up to enjoy some TGI Fridays food when we asked for a table for 2 and we're shown to a really tight fitting small table less than 2ft (24 inches) from the next table. We asked to be seated somewhere else and rather than accommodate our request as there were plenty of other tables available and only 1 other couple waiting to be seated, we were denied our request for another table quite sneeringly. We asked again and were outright told No. I've never been treated so rudely by someone that is front of house representing a restaurant in my life. He didn't even take into consideration any issues that myself as a customer may have with small spaces or close proximity to others. The host would rather let us walk out and go to a different restaurant, so that is exactly what we did. I can only strongly suggest that if you're thinking of visiting here you go next door to Coast To Coast instead. A million times better....!

Ate here yesterday for my birthday in the afternoon and seriously regret it. Having eaten at tgi in Leeds and Newcastle and really enjoyed it I was really disappointed. It was 3:30 in the afternoon on a Monday and pretty quiet so I don’t understand why it was so bad. There was rubbish on the floor that all the staff continuously walked past the whole time we were there, a milk bottle seal by my feet, tissue in the walk way, a fry packet at the entrance to indoor seating and bits of blue roll covering the floor under the tables. Our benches were covered in crumbs and salt. The staff were clearly blind to standards. The chicken wings were ok but the blue cheese dip tasted watered down and the celery seemed like it’d been sat on a warm side for two days. The quesadillas were actually dreadful, I left most of it. Bland and rubbery is the best description. Also our server didn’t ask if we wanted salad or fries when taking our order so I had to flag someone down. It just felt like everyone there wasn’t bothered. I’m a retail manager so I have a lot of respect for the service industry but that was just bad.

When we were seated took forever didn’t get food until 50minutes in and server was polite but it didn’t make up for unclean cups and asking if we would like our wraps for our fahjtas honestly this was awful and not to mention the mother meeting the staff held in the seating area . Do better Vegetarian options: Said things were not suited for a vegetarian food even tho it’s was a vegetarian meal

Vegetarian options: Plenty of great veggie and vegan options. The meat substitutes are delicious in their own ways. Dietary restrictions: They asked us twice about dietary restrictions prior to seating and ordering, which I believe is a sign of good service. None of us dining had any, so I can't comment on their commitment to providing for any restrictions.

Ridiculously loud music! We asked if the music could be turned down because we couldn’t hear each other talk and the waitress said that most other customers had also asked but that they weren’t allowed to turn it down. The waitress agreed that it was stupidly loud. We all left with headaches after our meal 🤦🏼♂️
