Attempted to go for dinner yesterday after the rugby. Got told to sit at the bar and that we would be seated within 20 mins. 20 minutes pass and I ask the person on the front door when we will be seated who confirmed that we will be seated when the next table becomes available. Another 10 minutes pass and more people come in and continue to be seated. The manager on the bar clearly noticed our frustration and attempted to deal with it only for the other staff to take no notice of her and continue to ignore us and sitting more customers. After 40 minutes of waiting, we decided to leave and find somewhere else to eat. Whilst the manager at the bar was apologetic for her colleagues incompetence, this really didn’t make up for how we were treated. We spent 25 quid on 3 drinks which were nice but all in all we left with a sour taste in our mouths. Shocking

Visited for my sons birthday, restaurant was busy and clearly there were not enough staff working, service was very slow, waited 25min just to get menus, overall 2.45hrs for main courses, 3x kids pudding and drinks, had a blue light card but they wouldn’t apply the code as there were drinks offers on our bill but surly they should of been able to split the bill for food and drinks but it was as though our waitress just couldn’t be bothered.
