Visited today. The restaurant was not busy and plenty of staff around, not a very welcome greeting. The table had just been cleaned before we sat down but the seats were sticky.Waited a while to order our drinks and food. When the child's drink arrived it was tasteless so we had to ask for this to be changed. Food took a while, the fajitas were bland, the portions of chips were small and my sons beans were cold and had to be replaced. We left and had our dessert elsewhere.

The bottomless brunch here is very enjoyable. The food platter is extremely well prepared, all the flavours are expertly arranged to form a seriously enjoyable meal. They were able to modify the platter to meet my allergen requirements by swapping standard cheese for a vegan option. The battered sesame chicken has to be a highlight, as well as the cheese and bacon fries. Unlimited Friday’s Pilsner for 2 hours. Alternatively enjoy unlimited cocktails with a £5 upgrade. If you’re not into beer there’s bottomless Prosecco as an alternative. Great place to have pre-drinks along with some really tasty food. Staff on site are brilliant as well.

I have tried to contact them via their website and Facebook for weeks so left with no option but leave a bad review. We collected an order. Potion sizes were absolutely abysmal to say they were a sharer,forgot the sauces ( including the ones we paid for ) Food was cold and not tasty at all. We ended up having to go to the takeaway! £20-£30 down! Ted hot chicken had no sauce on, lie cheese sauce missing,jack Daniels chicken tasted like it had been fryer several times,chewy and vile. We usually go in store and have no issues at the castleford branch but we were massively let down! Update - we ordered through the tgis website,it was the 15th of April and yes I still have the receipts. Collection time was 21.55 code was KTVG. Thanks

Read some bad reviews about the restaurant recently but had previously been with no issues. Greeting from staff was non existant, led to our table - seats were sticky and surrounding tables were piled with dirty plates etc. We ordered out food and drinks - drinks came after we had already eaten and were the wrong size. Once corrected, they bland and the waitress told us that we should have ordered a different cocktail. Poor experience all round for what is a relatively expensive restaurant.

I really didn't think the food quality or portions were appropriate to the cost. Service was slow, if your going to do unlimited refillable drinks, send me someone round at least to check if I need one every so often. Booking was a pain, can't call the restaurant have to use the app or stay on hold to a national number that's always engaged.

Wow, what has happened to TGIs? Hardly anything on the menu, no shrimp at all. Paid over £20 for a steak which was horrible, could of had a better meal at Wetherspoons at half the price. Such a shame as I used to love TGIs. Even the staff agreed the place was on a downward spiral.
