This is not the battlefield. It actually lies to the north west just south of the River Swilgate. This was designated as the battlefield so the leisure centre and council offices could be built. Money talks and rewrites history it seems.

Brilliant time watching the Battle of Tewkesbury Re-enactment as always. All the reenactors, traders, volunteers and staff worked so hard on some of the hottest days of the year so far to ensure everyone had a safe and brilliant time. There is always so much to see, do, and buy. The coverage over the fields and throughout the town make for a fantastic day out and really turn a couple of grassy fields into full colour, completely immersive medieval villages!
