Went to watch a rugby game. Easy parking( free!) Loos available, clean and well maintained. Shame the pitch / ground was so water logged and caused lots of slipping during play. Hopefully the uni will do something about this

If you use SO16 9QJ on Sat-nav, be warned it covers a wide area. Tucked away and on Sat-nav can throw you as it's down a dilapidated narrow lane. It's Millbrook FCs home ground on some maps. If going for local club trials, this is it. Once found though, it opens up to the car park in front of you with open fields, playing pitches on the right and the building with pitches on the left. Inside, it's clean and clearly signposted with a manned reception area. Changing rooms are decent, clean. On exiting to pitches, Millbrook FC pitch is to the right, accessible from the car park without going through the main building and is securely locked up whilst the Test Park pitch is directly ahead of you. High fences keep it secure but the pitch itself looks well used and worn out and is probably due an upgrade soon. It is a big pitch and has multiple uses including American Football with permanent goal posts for that, in. It's a big 11 aside football pitch that can split into 7 aside pitches width wise with various sized goal posts for either purpose. Playing on it is great but can get confusing sometimes with all the lines. Clear communication and cones help. With upgraded pitches and road, I'd give it 5 stars.
