I’m a new Tesla owner. Have taken my car first time to the Birmingham Tesla Centre for tow bar installation. Have been told that this will take approximately 4hrs. I did ask for a courtesy car as I wasn’t willing to use their facilities for work. I been told that courtesy car isn’t available and have been advised to organised my transport if not willing to wait. No problem... When in the afternoon I was on my way back to the garage to pick up my car (an hour's drive for me) I had a phone call to let me know that the car is not finished and asked if I have a driving licence on me for a courtesy car (now the car was available). This job took them 48hrs, not 4hr as was planned. On collection of my car, I asked if somebody can demonstrate how tow bar has to be fitted. With a bit of frustration, one of the technicians came out to explain to me how the tow bar need to be fitted, but due to Tesla H&S policy, he can’t fit it for me and advised me to watch videos on YouTube - really Tesla!!!!!!!! Is it true or just the technician doesn’t want Is it to get his hands dirty? One thing I know for sure, not using this garage again. Still have a problem phone not synch to hands free and still no response from Tesla…..

This place and the team are what car service and sales are all about, non pushy and polite, I can honestly say in 20 years of driving I’ve never been in a showroom and had someone who isn’t even in sales spend 2 hours talking to me about cars and anything else I could throw at him. Henry was an absolute pleasure to meet and he wasn’t even in sales, it’s been a very long time since I’ve had such an intelligent conversation with someone. I made the decision to buy a Tesla this year and it’s the best choice I’ve ever made, looking to part ex our Jaguar F pace after 4 weeks of ownership to buy another one for the wife. Tesla Birmingham you rock keep up what you are doing.

Unfortunately, my experience with Tesla has been far worse than bad. I ordered a new (used) Tesla last month and was given a collection date of March 30th. Based on that, I sold my own car as I wouldn't need two cars. However, on the 29th, Tesla contacted me to cancel the collection, and since then, it has not been rearranged. Now, the response I receive is simply, "your arrival date is being calculated." I have made several calls to the contact centre, exchanged messages back and forth, but there has been no progress. As a result, I have been without a car all this time, which has greatly impacted my ability to work as I rely on a car for my work. In addition, I have already paid for the car in full, so I am without the money as well. Tesla has been unable to provide any prediction on when the car will be available, leaving me in a state of uncertainty stress and frustration. This has undoubtedly been the worst car buying experience I have ever had.
