I have been staying at Tenerife farm for many years and I am staying on the farm at the moment. Comments recently made regarding the poorly ewe were not quite accurate. The ewe was poorly but the farmer is an extremely responsible person who is devoted to his animals. As he was out in the field (tending to other animals) he was not immediately aware that the ewe had fallen ill. As soon as he was made aware he collected the ewe, administered medication and the ewe is now back in the field and is absolutely fine. Farming is difficult enough without false accusations being made.

Have to say a great site, our stay was not without incident, but the staff are super friendly and try to assist when needed, our stay in an unfurnished pod, we found it was brilliant for our needs. There was sheep that was unwell, this was collected by the farmer as soon as he was aware. He later told us the animal was back on its feet and grazing. , a happy ending ..If you stay at this site, We can recommend the Local meat from the local farmer , We cant explain how good it is,.

We arrived late, reception was closed but we left a message, stayed for the night and paid next morning. So far so good. However, the next morning I saw a sheep lying down on it's side behind one of the pods. It was moving a lot but couldn't get up. When I asked about it I heard the sheep was lying there from the night before and people thought it was dead. The farmer knew but apparently just left the sheep to die. As I heard from reception, National Trust contacted the farmer, the sheep was ill and already on the campsite for a couple of days. However, everyone and certainly a farmer should treat his animals well. Not just let it suffering for such a long time while knowing it's ill and in distress. That simply isn't humane, should not be possible and certainly is in no thinkable way acceptable. I'm very sorry for the National Trust, as I've always been really fond of them, but they should not work together with people like this. Never ever again for me.

Nice location, with friendly staff. They have a shop on site, with some limited options. They often have pizza available to order for dinner £10 and croissants £1.20 each. A selection of meats and BBQ options. No provision for EV charging on site. The nearest charger is 11kw at the chocolate factory (charger open 24x7) NT seem to have lots of hook ups for caravans but not a single charge point, even 3kw would be better than nothing, and suitable over night.
