1 star for a Manager, he touched my back to tell me to leave because of my time finish, we spent £140 for 2 person, we finish and we paid on time as we promised and we wait to get our jacket from your. We don’t came back again.

Lovely staff, very friendly and capable. However we felt the plates were mediocre, especially given the high prices. Octopus was just south of £20 for one very thin tentacle that had an odd texture and no actual taste other than the huge portion of sauce it was drowned in. Croquettes could have easily been from the deep freeze section at a grocery store. Anchovies were bigged up on the menu but ultimately someone had just taken a few out of a jar and laid them out nicely. Felt rather ripped off when the bill for just under £110 for two people came (we also had two small beers each, which were admittedly reasonably priced). Yes, £55 per person is roughly in line for a relaxed neighborhood restaurant in South Ken, but that’s assuming a tasty, filling meal - we ordered a pizza when we got home and it was better on both counts! Sorry to say we won’t be trying this one again despite it practically being at our doorstep.

Stumbled on this perfect little restaurant as we were walking by. The staff were always there when we needed them but stayed in the background while we enjoyed our meal. The food was excellent, especially the corn fritters, and the wine was excellent. Reasonably priced for London.
