An historic site which underwent some recent developments (and still is) to provide flats and ensuite accommodations. Not the cheapest of places. The flats sell at over 100k 😬. But in terms of architecture, development, and design, the site is overall well done. The rooftop apartments look amazing. Many businesses inside. Free community advice and support as well. Opposite the police station.

Been living at Silk Warehouse for 6 years, It was quiet when we first moved. After 3 years of staying here, the place started to change for the worse! The entrance to the apartment is broken most of the time. Intercom now calls your mobile if someone wants to get in which is annoying if you are out and your family is inside waiting for a delivery. If you have a car, do NOT park it on the street, people will scratch or break your car! A lot of sketchy people around at night and plays loud music even after midnight. I would not recommend Silk Warehouse to anyone. You can try living at Velvet Mills, but I would not live around this place.
