    This is an excellent course to equip anyone keen on teaching English. Each module and lesson offers something innovative and interesting. My favourite parts have been the recordings of experienced TEFL teachers in action - it was helpful to observe how they structured and delivered their lessons, how the students responded, etc. I also enjoyed the opportunity to informally evaluate students on their speaking tests (you watch recordings of these examinations and, based on an IELTs score, you then evaluate how the students performed and how a good TEFL tutor might help them improve). All in all, this course has been presented in a way that is both professional and effective. It is suitable for trainee teachers from every background, whether you have some previous teaching experience or are completely new to the profession. With the 150-hour course behind me, I am now looking forward to getting started on the Practicum.

    Fantastic course! Lots of emphasis on grammar, lesson planning and strategies to enable you becoming an excellent ESL teacher. There was a mixture of reading and videos and I highly recommend choosing a course with a 20hr inclusive practicum. This grew my confidence and gave me an opportunity working with Ukrainian refugees and supporting them learning English. TEFL UK are quick to respond to emails and will even support you in finding refugees to teach for your practicum.

    I struggled with finding an English Teaching Job In Japan until I was referred to TEFL UK. I was a little nervous during the interview process and my Wi-Fi was trippy but the entire process was smooth and I never felt lost or confused. After that I got a job placement. Although my travel to Japan was delayed, I never felt anxious as they always answered my questions, no matter how absurd. I'm grateful for everything they have helped me through, even going as far as giving me recommendations for my new life in Tokyo. I couldn't recommend them even more. Not only will it teach you everything you need to learn to become a TEFL teacher, it also helps you decide what type of teaching best fits you, whether it be face-to-face, online or business classes. You'll also find taking the 20 hour teaching practicum to be an extremely valuable experience, for it not only gives you the confidence to become a teacher but also the enjoyment from it. This course is definitely worth the time and effort!
