The airport has had a huge improvement. It's relaxed and inviting and has some proper facilities now. We flew to Amsterdam then on again with no problems. I would recommend it now. Photo taken at Amsterdam as it was still dark when we took off. Thanks Teesside airport.

(Translated by Google) The place quite comfortable. There are plugs everywhere. A coffee 3 pounds and a bit..... Overrated. That coffee shouldn't even cost 1.5. (Original) El lugar bastante cómodo. Hay enchufes por todos lados. Un café 3 libras y pico..... Sobrevalorado. Ese café no debería costar ni 1.5.

It's an airport not much to say really, small in size, everything you'd expect to get from an airport. Decent viewing area if you want to go and watch some aircraft. Car park is very expensive as all airports are but if you spend £2.50 in one of the café/coffee shops you can park for two hours. Check the website for full details.

As others have said, a great little airport. Easy access. Got a deal on parking - 17gbp for 3 days and it's just outside the main door. Security quick with the new scanners - can take your water and whatever through now. Pleasant waiting areas. Good duty free with some good offers on spirits - info available online. So why the 3 stars? Blatant price gouging at the bar. 7gbp for a pint of San Mig and 8.50gbp for a mini prosecco is outrageous. You have been warned.
