    I have a vintage Rolex Oysterdate Precision, c. around 1954 we think; it was my father’s, and he brought it back from the Far East during his National Service days in the army. Unfortunately one of the small lugs on the safety part of the strap sheared off recently and was lost. Obviously the watch has great sentimental value; I really want to keep it as original as possible, but thought I would have to have a new piece in the strap. However, I contacted Terry at TCA and they have managed to fabricate a new lug and laser weld it in place, so expertly you wouldn’t know! I am so pleased with the result (pictures attached) and Terry was very helpful indeed during my initial enquiries and throughout. I have no hesitation in recommending him! Iain T
