He communicated quickly and clearly by text, showed up on time (even on a Sunday morning), was straightforward about his costs, and resolved the mechanical issue on my narrowboat quickly. He not only got me up and running again but showed me how previous mechanics had fixed "symptoms" but not the underlying problem. Dave is a decent guy and should be your first call if need assistance while on the River Stort and upper Lea.

Dave was excellent. Went for Taylors Marine Services after phoning around for a quote and Dave quoted half the price others were quoting and breaking down all the costs for me so I understood what was being charged for and why. The work was neat and thorough, and resolved our issue and he put up with me asking questions non-stop all the way through, taking the time to explain and help me understand everything he was doing. In the end he was there for over two hours, but he generously rounded down for us. Friendly, professional and thorough. Would highly recommend!
