I wholeheartedly recommend Taylor & Wallis to anyone that has recently lost a loved one to help manage and plan their funeral. Right from the start the team (especially Val) were so supportive and helped to guide me through the process. They made one of the hardest times so much easier. They opened at a weekend to enable me to see my loved one in the chapel of rest and the whole team on the day of the funeral were so lovely. I cannot fault them in anyway and recommend them 100%. Ian, Val, Claire & the rest of the team couldn’t have been more professional , friendly and helpful in arranging our parents funeral - nothing was too much trouble and all our wishes were accommodated. From taking care of dad within 30 minutes of calling with so much empathy to then collecting mum from the hospital so that they could again be together right through to the funeral day itself , was perfect. When our parents arrived at their home for the last time side by side in the beautiful silver hearse surrounded by flowers - it really took our breath away. Ian guided us through and chose the perfect celebrant , Dawn - who we immediately bonded with. Dawn was exceptional both before and during the service and we had so many friends and family who couldn’t praise her and the service highly enough. I would not hesitate to recommend Taylor & Wallis to anybody in the future.
