This would be zero if it could be. After purchasing a flat via their auction site they took my deposit with out their due diligence on the seller. The legal pack made available after the sale had all kinds of information missing as well as extra special conditions that equated to an extra £8000! After trying to pull out of this deal and have my payment refunded via my solicitor Taylor James were non responsive & I ended up losing nearly £10,000 from a fraudulent company with no help from Taylor James at all. I encourage anyone looking at a property been sold by Taylor James to seek a solicitors advice first as Taylor James will be of no help once they have taken money from you.

*** keep well away from this auctioneer *** Agreed a preferential price below reserve as the seller was a neighbour. Once I communicated our deal with the auctioneer instead of following clients instructions to exchange of my offer Taylor James began ignoring my calls and sold the property someone else as they seen this as a opportunity to buy internally. Sounds very suspicious.. Just opened a case with property ombudsman. Take my genuine advise keep well away

I've just completed on a property I bought in the last auction! Extremely happy with the service received. Reviews I had read stated there were extra fees in the legal pack, however, once I contacted the office, I was advised by the team that all terms and conditions (including any extra fees) would be included in the legal pack provided before bidding. I would definitely use Taylor James in the future, and am looking forward to the next auction.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! Vendor gave instructions to them to exchange contracts on our offer at a preferential price as he was our 30+ yr neighbour. James Taylor auctioneers did not follow clients instruction and sold the house to another party at the same price whilst me and my husband were waiting for account details to deposit funds and were being ignored. In the background Jame Taylor were lining someone else to take our opportunity away. They took our potential family home away from us! This company should be shut down permanently as it is fraudulent!!!

Stay well away from this auctioneer .. sale agreed with the vendor all confirmed and agreed purchase price . Happy to pay the reservation fee all of a sudden no contact from the office or email correspondence numerous calls from myself and my business partner . Many hours later we receive a call that the offer has been rejected all of a sudden and another offer has been accepted without any viewings taking place as we was present at the property .We will be taking this to the property ombudsman and taking legal action . Clearly an inside job where the auctioneer has sold the ‘deal’ to another client / investor without informing anyone and not taking the best interest for the client at any stage as we had been willing to offer much higher .
