Nobody is happy in this training, I have passed the BTEC Level 3 course and after 1 month somebody with was trying to call me about, totally unprofessional approach doesn't believe what they say it's just about the monies nothing else when they will receive the payment tend to forget the students! I was surprised how unprofessional was all this, somebody with name Kevin couldn't articulate on the phone about the results after so many days I was waiting for a short course result . (Not surprised although how education goes down to the drain)

I would say its the best trainers in the UK. But why doesn't the it or companies question why there's a lack of diversity in the industry. Not if there are women or minorities, in engineering roles but management. This country has no interest in why.

I’ve completed 2 of the Tavcom courses in the past, passing both and receiving the certificates. Excellent trainers and course content. What makes them a 1 star business is the recent changes to the ECS scheme. The ECS will not recognise the qualifications carried out at Tavcom and quoted feedback from the ECS was “The JIB have tried to engage with Tavcom to give them the opportunity to have their qualifications mapped against the standard, however Tavcom have been less than forthcoming and this has not progressed. Therefore we are currently unable to accept the qualifications presented” That being said, as most construction sites now require a ECS card, the courses carried out at Tavcom are pointless and I’d look into other approved suppliers which will be accepted by the ECS. It’s disappointing that as one of the largest trainers in the fire and security industry, tavcom haven’t wanted to rectify this or work ECS. Before leaving this review I also emailed the account manager twice to ask why this was the case and for an explanation but my emails went unanswered.
