  Sam has been walking my dog for over 6 months and I would definitely recommend her services. She is organised, has never let me or my dog down, she is flexible and has a genuine affection for all of her dogs, understanding their personalities and matching them with the best group to walk with. Sam is also a qualified dog trainer and my dog and I recently took part in a 6 week course teaching our dogs (and owners) how to be more engaged with each other, recall, and generally tricks and tips for better behaviour. I have continued with these lessons on walks and have seen a definite improvement with my dog and how engaged and responsive he is to me. Walks and training 100% recommended 🐾

  Sam has been an absolute god send with my two french bulldogs! We do dog walking once a week but then also recently already did dog training classes which has made such a big difference in their behaviour and recall. Thank you so much Sam, best dog walker in BD10!!!

  Sam & Em at the Great Outpaws are absolutely amazing! We've used dog walkers before & never quite been happy. That is definitely not the case here, they treat our puppy like he's one of their own & that's reflected in how much he loves seeing them both. Can not recommend Sam & Em highly enough, would trust them with our dog any day of the week. Joe, Ellen & Koda.

  I have been using The Great Outpaws dog walking services now for over 4 years. I have two border collies, Bonnie 11 years and Meg 4 years. They have the best time ever on their walks with Sam. Both my dogs have their own issues and Sam has taken the time and patience with both of them so that they get the best experience on the walks. Both Sam and Emily are very experienced handling dogs and both provide high enrichment and variety on the walks. Both my dogs love attracting mud and they come back cleaned up and lovely and clean. I can’t speak highly enough of The Great Outpaws. I highly recommend and they are in my eyes the best in the business. Bonnie and Meg give them 100 stars ⭐️

  When I rescued my dog I was very apprehensive about employing a dog Walker as I’ve never needed one with previous pets. A friend of a friend suggested The Great Outpaws. Sam and Emily could not be more professional and caring. They took great time to get to know my dog. I could not recommend them highly enough. I would not let my dog be walked by anyone else. Sam and Emily have walked my dog for the past 5 years. They go above and beyond ‘A dog walking service’.

  The Great Outpaws have simply been amazing for our 1 year old Labrador Hugo. We live in the BD10 area and had lots of dog walkers to chose from but meeting with Sam and Emily it was clear how passionate they are about their business. Sam and Emily have been walking Hugo since he was a puppy and I thoroughly believe they have both helped him become an all round confident, happy and obedient pup. We also had puppy class lessons that were run by Sam and they were invaluable. I've always grown up with dogs but I was as still amazed at how much knowledge I learned. Both my partner and I still use the simple but effective positive reinforcement with Hugo. Emily has been walking Hugo for the past few months and she is incredible!! To see Hugo so happy to see her and toddle off with her just shows how much he loves her and how safe he feels. Emily is always professional, reliable and courteous and I have piece of mind knowing Hugo is taken care of in her hands. Thank you Sam & Emily!!

  Sam is by the far the best that iv known she's great with my pooch looks after them so well! Sam was great at the beginning it ended very badly. And unprofessional with a different walker. Because I asked a question she decided she didn't want to walk casey anymore. So if your gonna ask a question because your unhappy with something then be careful because it could be your last walk.

  I would highly recommend The Great Outpaws for anyone looking for a local dog walker or trainer around the BD10 area. When we first met Sam she came round to introduce herself to us and our puppy Milo. She was so friendly and really made us feel at ease with taking Milo out while we were at work. At first Milo went out on a few puppy walks. Sam was so patient with him and went at his pace. As Milo got a bit older he joined in on the group walks which he absolutely loves! Milo never comes home dirty, there’s no sign of the muddy and fun walk he had been on that day, which is great when you come home from work. We also had some 1 to 1 training sessions with Sam as we were struggling with Milo getting very excited when people came round and his general behaviour. Again she was really patient with him and us, she showed us how to how achieve a settle position with him which we could then adapt to a number of our problems.

  Recently had our first one to one session with Sam for our 12 week old puppy! Very happy with the session and Sam was so helpful and answered all our questions. Would definitely recommend her and her approach to dog training which is so much kinder than some others. Already booked in for puppy classes in the next few weeks and very much looking forward to them!
