I recently had the privilege of getting tattooed by Black Quill in Tattoo Age, and it was a truly remarkable experience. From the moment I walked into the studio I knew I was in the hands of a true artist who was dedicated to creating a one-of-a-kind masterpiece. Black Quill took the time to listen to my ideas and then worked to develop a design that exceeded my expectations, suggesting his viewpoint to make the tattoo look better, and it turned out to become my idea but on steroids. What sets Black Quill apart from other tattoo artists is his incredible ability to create abstract and surrealist designs that really stand out, and that was exactly what I wanted. Really incredible gift for understanding my vision and transforming it into a stunning work of art that represents my personality and style. Also, what blew me away was the actual tattooing, precision and attention to detail were incredible, and he used a combination of shading and dot works and other stuff I don't really understand technically, but turned out to be a truly stunning piece unlike anything I've seen before. The entire process of working with Black Quill was also great, he was patient, attentive, and made sure that I was completely comfortable with every aspect of the design before moving forward. Overall, can't recommend Black Quill highly enough. Will be definitely coming back for more. 100/100

Got a Groupon to get a minimal tattoo on my chest. Not sure how things could have gone so wrong, since it should have been such a simple tattoo, but they did! As you can see in the photo, the tattoo is not symmetrical (fine!), but the main issue is that the bottom line is not straight and so all the tattoo looks weird since it’s in a central position. I told Albert about it and he was happy to draw a couple of lines for me to “fix it”, but they would have not fixed it. I went to another tattoo artist, who drew the mandala (see photo), but that would still looks weird because the tattoo is very asymmetrical. I just wanted a simple minimal tattoo. I’m so sad now, and I’m looking into laser removal, but it’s expensive and it will take a long time! I don’t recommend you to get a Groupon, because the guy will not take your tattoo serious and will make a bad drawing in 2 minutes.

I came here over a year ago and they messed up my tattoo bad. When I called and asked to speak to the manager he stated that the tattoo artist doesn’t work there so they are not reasonable. Wasn’t a great experience. I don’t understand why the previous review was removed. People need to see all sides of the tattoo shop before making a decision. Service: Tattoo design
