    Used to be better. Much of the gallery is shut off and J suggest if doing renovations they should just close off entirely. £10 for the Turner exhibit is too much! Only a couple of weeks ago I was in the National Gallery which granted is different but has a far better representation I feel of the works. The cafe is what really let's it down here. A number of staff milling around and seemed displeased when am old chap with a cane needed to assistance to carry goods to a table. Menu at lunch is short and the toastie had a miserable small amount of filling for the price. Better off going to one of the restaurants in the docs. Lastly the "salad" that accompanied the toasting was just overdressed leaves what clearly were not even washed. I had a massive lump of soil in it

    Went for the Turner exhibition which was marred by intrusive music which could not be switched off. You could alternate with quiet periods to allow the nations greatest master's art to "speak for itself". The music which sounded like a poor Brian Eno cover version of Brown Girl in the Ring grated. You need to consider people with hidden disabilities such as autism for example and make a visit a pleasure rather than an audio endurance. As always the staff gave an excellent interpretation of the more radical modern pieces which provided good insight to pieces that appeared somewhat banal at first blush.
